The Gulfstream g100 is a great choice of "Private Jets" for mid-range "Private Jet Charter trips."
IAI builds G100s in Israel and then flies the completed airframes the United states for interior outfitting.
The Gulfstream 100 is an Astra SPX. When General Dynamics acquired the Astra models it was renamed the Gulfstream 100 compared to the Astra SP.
It has more powerful and efficient Honeywell TFE 731-40 engines, winglets and Collins Pro Line 4 avionics.
The 1125 Astra is based on the Westwind II fuselage and tail and is mated with an all-new high speed swept wing that was produced initially without winglets.
The new wing was repositioned low on the fuselage. This combined with reshaped fuselage frames increases headroom by eight inches.
Other changes include a lengthened nose for greater avionics space and more extensive use of composites.
