Hawker Beechcraft unveiled the 800XPR during the 2010 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition.
The engines incorporate 70 design and material improvements and an improved interstate turbine temperature margin that significantly improves performance and durability.
This includes a 7% reduction in specific fuel consumption and increased maintenance from 3,000 hrs for major periodic inspections (MPI) and 6,000 hours for core zone inspections (CZI).
Improved performance also includes the ability to climb direct to Flight Level 410 at maximum takeoff weight in 25 minutes, and reach FL370 three minutes faster than the 800XP.
