The 40XR shares a common cockpit and cabin cross section with the 45XR, but with a shortened cabin and two fewer seats.



Many actually prefer the 40XR cabin over the 45XR as the fewer number of passenger seats allows more cabin comfort for all passengers.



It has a spacious aft lavatory, flushing toilet and an elegant full vanity.



A standard 40XR is equipped with higher-end luxury appointments for its class such as cabin audio and entertainment systems.

    It features a flat floor throughout and “track and swivel” seating that enables passengers to move comfortably throughout the aircraft.


    The aft lavatory is also belted for one additional passenger bringing the maximum seating to seven (7) passengers.



    The full entertainment system features a 10.4” forward monitor, moving map system, 110 volts power system, cabin DVD player, cabin audio system with passenger audio/video input.



    It has excellent range/payload flexibility and climbs quickly to elevations far above most air traffic and bad weather.



    Its range allows for nonstop flights from Chicago to San Francisco or from Singapore to Hong Kong.



    The Learjet 40XR, even when loaded to its maximum takeoff weight of 21,000 pounds, it can take off in just 4,680 feet from a sea level runway. It takes 15 minutes to climb to FL370.
